Left wing actress and #metoo activist Alyssa Milano has never been one to keep her liberal opinion to herself.
Past tweets include “I prefer crazy ‘liberal’ to ‘lefty.’ A "liberal" believes that government should be active in supporting social and political change” and a call for a “sex strike” in Georgia and Alabama in protest of the overturn of Roe v Wade. She claimed:
Banning abortion is about controlling women and trans men. It is about white supremacy, the patriarchy and misogyny.
Not to mention very public bragging about her own abortions:
I would not have my career. I would not have the ability or platform I use to fight against oppression with all my heart. … I would never had been free to be myself – and that’s what this fight is all about: freedom.
Fighting against oppression by murdering those you see as getting in your way? Makes total sense - if your highest ideal is virtue signaling.
And in the most bitter irony, what could be more hateful than calling for the deaths of other people so you can be "free"?
Her latest example of twisted logic was boasting about returning her Tesla and buying a Volkswagen to protest Elon Musk and his determination to bring freedom of speech back to Twitter. She claimed Musk and now Twitter, ironically the platform on which she chose to advertise her “good deed” and stage her attack, is in alignment with white supremacy and hate speech.

Let’s take a quick look at Volkswagen and their history, shall we?
According to Volkswagen’s own website:
The history of the Volkswagen brand began with the “Käfer”; development work on this Nazi prestige project began in 1934. On May 28, 1937, the “Gesellschaft zur Vorbereitung des Deutschen Volkswagens mbH“ (Company for the Preparation of the German Volkswagen Ltd.) was formally established. The name was changed to “Volkswagenwerk GmbH” in 1938, and the company built its main plant in what has become Wolfsburg. However, the outbreak of war and integration in the arms industry prevented mass production of the Volkswagen (“people’s car”) – instead, military vehicles and other armaments were produced using forced labor.
Twitterverse was swift in their replies, pointing out the irony and Milano’s ignorance:

Fellow actor James Wood, who was canceled for his support of Trump, tweeted:

Is this what we are reduced to? Thinking free speech is a threat, that the “right” to kill the unborn and helpless is healthcare and progressive, and a crocheted face “mask” is caring?
Volkswagen no longer has anything to do with racism, and frankly, I can’t find that Elon Musk ever has.
But that’s what freedom of speech is for. To expose the truth when a spoiled brat spews hate and ignorance. I’d say the new Twitter is working marvelously.
