Elon Musk considers ‘DOGE Dividend’ from government reform savings

By spreading one-fifth of the expected $2 trillion total in DOGE savings across the 79 million households that “will be net payers of federal income tax” this year, each household would receive $5,000.

Elon Musk said that his Department of Government Efficiency would consider paying a DOGE Dividend to refund savings delivered to taxpayers through the government reform initiative.

 

Musk responded to James Fishback, the chief executive of investment firm Azoria, on social media after the firm proposed the DOGE Dividend, saying he “will check with the President.”
