Members of the Supreme Court appeared skeptical on Tuesday toward a lawsuit from the Mexican government trying to hold American firearm makers accountable for cartel violence.

 

Mexican authorities filed a lawsuit against Smith and Wesson, Beretta, Glock, and other firearm makers, claiming that they should be held liable for violence in the country at the hands of the cartels. Justices were reportedly skeptical toward the claims made by the foreign government.
