New York Jets quarterback, future hall of famer, and one of the most important and courageous voices against the COVID vaccine in the sports world, Aaron Rodgers, didn’t hold back during his live appearance last week on the Pat McAfee Show when discussing his team’s Sunday Night Football game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Not surprisingly, this caused quite the pushback from fans, conservatives, and even some sports media members like Will Compton, host of Bussin’ With The Boys and former NFL player, who shared a video of himself “blocking” Kelce on Instagram.

The comments about Rodgers on the Pat McAfee Show included some cheers, comedy, and cringeworthy responses.

This is also not the first time Rodgers has poked fun at someone pushing the COVID vaccine while appearing on the Pat McAfee Show. Last month, Rodgers fired back at left-wing sports media member Keith Olbermann, who frequently attacks anyone on the right side of political issues, including female swimmer Riley Gaines. The quarterback told Olbermann to “get your fifth booster” in response to Olbermann suggesting he got hurt because he wasn’t vaccinated.

Later in the broadcast, McAfee asked Rodgers about what he said during his interaction with Kelce prior to the Sunday night game. Rodgers brushed it off by replying that “some things need to be left on the field.”

I shared my not-so-serious thoughts of what I thought the interaction included.

Aaron Rodgers is currently rehabbing his torn achilles, which he injured in the first quarter of his first game with the New York Jets. Sources are saying he is handling the rehab with Baltimore Ravens running back, JK Dobbins, who suffered the same injury. A return this season for either would be a long shot, to say the least.
