Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents arrested some 800 illegal aliens in Florida over the span of four days through a massive operation involving both state and federal assets.

 

The immigration enforcement effort, named Operation Tidal Wave, deputized law enforcement officers in Florida to help the federal officials arrest those illegally present in the country. Florida state and local police agencies allow ICE officers to work on their task forces and in jail facilities.
