Officials with the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department issued a final report on the shooting at the Covenant School, omitting that the shooter was driven by animus toward white Christians.

The shooter, a female alumna of the school claiming transgender identity as a male, murdered three students and three adult staff members at the Christian school before she was fatally shot by police. The report claimed that “the motive determined over the course of the investigation was notoriety” despite her extensive writings about transgenderism, religion, and racial identity.

Several leaked portions of the manifesto said that she wanted to “kill those kids” and referred to them as “those crackers,” a racial slur aimed at white people. She noted their “white privileges” and their wealth as shown by “daddies mustangs and convertables” in part of the document.
