The executive order has expedited these Afrikaners’ applications while temporarily halting refugee programs from Afghanistan, Iraq, and sub-Saharan African nations.

The executive order also suspended American funding to South Africa, citing their anti-white stance alongside certain foreign policy positions taken by the nation earlier this month. File Image.

President Donald Trump’s administration has begun relocating forty-nine white South Africans, primarily Afrikaners, to the United States under a new refugee program.

The action stems from a February executive order that noted how South Africa’s government has racially discriminated against the white Afrikaner population. A private charter carrying the group landed at Dulles International Airport near Washington, DC, on Monday.
