President Donald Trump announced the creation of the Make America Healthy Again Commission to study and propose solutions to handle increased levels of chronic diseases.

The new effort, created by an executive order from Trump, will emphasize combating the rise of obesity, diabetes, and mental health disorders, as well as “focus on reversing chronic disease” through agencies that deal with health. The order called for broader reforms by saying that “we must ensure our healthcare system promotes health rather than just managing disease.”
