Woke Wars: Biden has spent much of his term on vacation

The current occupant of the White House was almost as likely to be catching some rays on a beach relative to ensuring the future of our nation, or even reporting to work in the first place.

The vacations come after the media complained nonstop about President Donald Trump playing golf during his first administration, even as the crises were not nearly as severe. File Image.

The past four years have been challenging for America.

There was the consistent pressure of inflation. There was a record amount of illegal immigration. There was the emergence of new wars around the world.

President Joe Biden meanwhile spent much of his time not even focusing on those problems, but focusing on vacation, spending 40% of his tenure on one break or another.

Well earned for a job not done.

When our nation was battling some crisis, Biden was more than happy to hand over the reins to his handlers and appointees while he opted for a snooze on the beach in Delaware.

That comes after the media complained nonstop about President Donald Trump playing golf during his first administration, even as the aforementioned crises were not nearly as severe.

Even in the past few days, Biden arrived in the Virgin Islands for his final vacation as commander-in-chief, spending some time in the tropics after he spent several hard weeks pardoning terrible criminals in federal prisons, and even his son Hunter Biden.

Biden has therefore spent about 570 days on vacation.

A vacation from those vacations.

Serving as the President is a serious calling.

Only a few dozen men have had the honor of leading the nation over the two and a half centuries of our existence as a federal republic. Most have taken that honor extremely seriously.

But the current occupant of the White House was almost as likely to be catching some rays on a beach relative to ensuring the future of our nation, or even reporting to work in the first place.
