Woke Wars: Communists take to the streets

None of these “workers” look like they have ever actually worked a day in their lives, with the exception of their local coffee shop, edgy bookstore, or Democratic ballot harvesting operation.

Communism has killed hundreds of millions in only the last century.

Naturally the progressive leftists in America want to give the movement another chance.

Real communism has never been tried!

Over the weekend, leftists launched the “Revolutionary Communists of America” and hosted their first Congress in Philadelphia. Hundreds of them took to the streets with red hammer-and-sickle flags, massive banners, and various chants.

In their manifesto, the new party insists that “the world can no longer afford to live under capitalism” and says “tens of millions of workers are starting to realize this fact.”

There is only one problem.

None of these “workers” look like they have ever actually worked a day in their lives, with the exception of their local coffee shop, edgy bookstore, or Democratic ballot harvesting operation.

If you look closely at the video of their march through the streets of Philadelphia, you will see lots of beer bellies, dyed hair, skinny arms, and dudes wearing crop tops.

Some of them, to say this as kindly as possible, could probably also use a bath.

One of their leaders looks like he is attempting to match the beard once worn by Vladimir Lenin but appears to be struggling since he has not quite reached puberty.

Will communist utopia have free hormone blockers?

These young communists do not look like hardened workers who spent three weeks straight in the coal mines and are desperate for a living wage. They look like they were raised in upper-middle-class families in some Philadelphia suburb, took one too many gender studies classes at Temple or Drexel, moved back in with their parents after earning their racial horoscope and astrology doctorates, and now need something to do beyond scrolling TikTok.

That mostly seems to involve pamphleteering across Philadelphia, a project which even includes Chinatown, where a few older immigrants could surely tell them about life under communism.

Perhaps before reaching a conclusion as to whether or not the “Revolutionary Communists of America” will be successful, we should remember that there are millions of young people across our country who are desperate for some cause to provide them with meaning.

Yesterday that cause was Black Lives Matter.

Today that cause seems to be Hamas.

Tomorrow that cause could be “Revolutionary Communism.”

Buckle up for bread lines and body odor.
