For the past few years entrepreneur and multibillionaire Elon Musk has declared an all-out war on the “woke mind virus.” With his vast resources and cultural clout, Musk has been perhaps one of the most effective enemies to that “woke mind virus” in our culture.
Yet that all-out war has been intensely personal for Musk.
Musk revealed during an interview with Jordan Peterson that his own son has fallen victim to the “woke mind virus.” In an emotional segment of the interview, Musk said he was “essentially tricked” into signing documents for his son, Xavier, allowing him to take hormone blockers.
Doctors told Musk that his son would face an increased likelihood of suicide unless he signed the documents, a lie that Musk described as “incredibly evil.” Musk and Peterson agreed that “the people that have been promoting this should go to prison.”
Lock them up.
Throw away the key.
“I lost my son, essentially,” a melancholy Musk described. “They call it ‘deadnaming’ for a reason. The reason it’s called ‘deadnaming’ is because your son is dead.”
“There’s lots of people in that situation now. It’s not pretty. And lots of demolished kids,” Peterson added after offering Musk his condolences.
“I vowed to destroy the ‘woke mind virus’ after that,” Musk said. “We’re making some progress.”
Watch out, woke mafia.
Remember that Musk has lost more than his son to the “woke mind virus.” He has moved most of his business headquarters out of California and to other states over their unhinged economic policies and even their rampant persecution of the family unit.
But surely nothing could ever exceed the loss of his own son.
The insane leftist ideologies that have throttled our nation, culture, and institutions have in some way affected all of us. Those ideologies therefore make a lot of enemies.
We all need to support the destruction of the “woke mind virus.”
Like other infectious diseases, the “woke mind virus” will never be satisfied.
We have to start by immunizing ourselves and our families against wokeness and, as far as we are able, encourage others to do the same, both privately and publicly.
Children like Xavier need us. We cannot surrender.
