Vice President Kamala Harris, who was suddenly thrust into the role of Democratic presidential nominee, has chosen Minnesota Democratic Governor Tim Walz as her running mate.
That selection is absolutely perfect for her.
On every issue where Harris has been a colossal failure, Walz has been even worse.
Dems of a feather run together.
Walz signed a law offering driver’s licenses to illegal aliens, which many conservatives suspect is a step toward allowing them to vote, marking the end goal of the Democratic Party and their intentional border crisis. Harris herself was placed in charge of the border under President Joe Biden, meaning we could have two awful border officials as President and Vice President.
Walz was also in the spotlight four years ago as Minnesota became ground zero for our “summer of love” packed with racial grievances and “fiery but mostly peaceful protests.”
Recall that Harris received criticism for encouraging donations to a fundraiser which bailed out Minnesota residents involved in the riots, including several violent criminals.
Defund the police. Fund the perps.
Instead of putting out the fires, Walz likewise fanned the flames.
Beyond waiting three days before finally deploying the National Guard, the official played into the hands of the rioters, laying flowers at the memorial of George Floyd and claiming that the demise of the career criminal was “the symptom of a disease.”
“We will not wake up one day and have the disease of systemic racism cured for us,” he lectured. “This is on each of us to solve together, and we have hard work ahead.”
Rest in peace, St. Floyd.
Speaking of diseases, Walz has a terrible record on lockdowns and mandates.
Even as COVID feels like a lifetime ago, we cannot forget that most of our highest officials showed their true colors as tyrants thanks to the disease. In the case of Walz, he forced seniors with COVID back into nursing homes, as well as targeted churches and businesses with lockdowns.
He also established a hotline encouraging Minnesota residents to snitch on their neighbors who were not complying with the incredibly strict lockdown orders.
Walz would assist Harris with shoving social justice, tyranny, and a combination of the two down the throats of the entire country without even skipping a beat. They are perfect for one another, and in many ways perfect for a nation that has become all too comfortable with that tyranny.
