Florida lawmaker proposes ban on modifying weather for climate purposes

The heavy metals and other compounds in weather modification solutions are known to create kidney and liver disease, immune system dysfunction, nerve damage, autism, birth defects, and a number of other disorders.

Florida Republican State Representative Kevin Steele introduced legislation that will ban “weather modification activities” such as cloud seeding and solar radiation modification.

 

Steele noted that both cloud seeding, which involves “introducing tiny heavy metal particles” into clouds to enable precipitation, and solar radiation modification, which seeks to increase “the amount of sunlight reflected back into space,” carry massive environmental and health risks.
