Jose Ibarra, the illegal alien from Venezuela who sexually assaulted and murdered Georgia nursing student Laken Riley, received a flight to the state funded by taxpayer dollars.

Riley was attacked while on a run on the University of Georgia campus earlier this year and was found dead with evidence of blunt force trauma and asphyxiation. Ibarra, who was on trial this week in Athens, Georgia, traveled to Georgia by means of a federally funded plane ticket, according to witness testimony presented during court proceedings.

Rosebeli Flores-Bello, a former roommate of the illegal alien, said during her testimony that she and others requested flights to Georgia from Manhattan while staying at the Roosevelt Hotel, which is presently used as a shelter for illegal aliens overwhelming New York City. “We requested for a humanitarian flight to come here to Atlanta,” she said through an interpreter.

One representative from City Hall remarked in a statement to the media that “what happened to Laken Riley is a gut-wrenching tragedy and we are hopeful her suspected killer is held accountable to the fullest extent of the law,” adding that “our reticketing system is one tool in our very limited toolbox as a city that helps migrants take the next step out of our shelter system.”

Biden administration officials have also imported tens of thousands of foreigners into the United States by means of a program that allows them to directly enter the country and receive humanitarian parole. The program relies on Customs and Border Protection permitting foreigners to schedule appointments at ports of entry, including forty-seven airports across the country, using a phone app.

Ibarra is a member of Tren De Aragua, a gang which started in Venezuela and has made headlines as members commit robberies, sex trafficking, and other crimes in the United States.
