Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is seeking to implement reforms on childhood vaccines, antidepressant drugs, processed chemicals in foods, and other potential causes of sickness.

That effort was formally recognized by President Donald Trump, who created a nationwide Make America Healthy Again Commission to study those phenomena, rightly asserting that “we must ensure our healthcare system promotes health rather than just managing disease.”

But the senior Democrats, without a leader and without a positive message for the country, are now signaling against this effort, which the vast majority of Americans resoundingly support.
