Money is rather tight for a lot of American families at the moment.
Buying a cartload of groceries or keeping the lights on is increasingly expensive, and few people have the kind of jobs or wealth that will allow them to weather the storm without noticing.
CBS News therefore reported that an increasing number of Americans are having to choose between paying their power bill or buying food for their families.
Bidenomics at work.
The outlet interviewed a forty-four-year-old woman from North Carolina who said she routinely has to decide between cooling or heating her mobile home, paying all of the rent, buying food, or paying fees so that her son can play a sport.
Rather than pointing the finger at terrible economic policy over the past four years, however, the article decided to blame the looming specter of climate change.
The article from CBS News informed readers that “public health and environmental experts say that as climate change continues to create extreme weather conditions, more policy efforts are needed to help vulnerable communities, especially during heat waves.”
Trust the science.
The boogeyman of climate change is incredibly useful for our woke elites.
Rather than pointing to economic policies proven to be failures, many of which were passed under President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, the legacy media can point to a nebulous threat like climate change as a scapegoat for the failures of their preferred candidates.
The reason why more Americans are having to choose between eating dinner and not freezing during the winter is because of money artificially pumped into the economy, as well as federal energy policy that has been positioned against oil, coal, and gas.
Green energy costs greenbacks.
To be clear, even if climate change became unjustifiable as a scapegoat, the media would simply choose another one. They will by no means, however, blame the actual culprits.
