Woke Wars: The leftists are pretending to die from federal budget cuts

As thousands of New Yorkers took to the streets against Musk and his government efficiency work, many held fake tombstones and laid on the ground, claiming the cuts were killing them.

One of the marks of the second Trump administration has been government efficiency efforts.

President Donald Trump has correctly noticed that the federal government needs to be seriously downsized, and he has tapped Elon Musk to lead the new Department of Government Efficiency in order to identify wasteful spending and implement immediate cuts where that is possible.

There has been no issue that the Democrats have been protesting more vehemently, since federal government money is tied to their fake nonprofits, art commissions, and other scams.

Say goodbye to the gravy train.

Their latest protest came in the form of a “die-in” near the New York Stock Exchange.

As thousands of New Yorkers took to the streets against Musk and his government efficiency work, many held fake tombstones and laid on the ground, claiming the cuts were killing them.

One said “DOGE Took My Medicaid.” Another said “Death By GOP.” Others said “GOP Helped The Rich Not Me,” plus “Kicked Off Medicaid” and “DOGE Ended My NIH Cancer Treatment.”

All of those fake tombstones were held under a massive banner reading “Tax The Rich.”

Absolutely none of these fears are justified. The sort of programs that Trump and Musk are cutting include pumping foreign aid into distant countries for subversive purposes and heinous medical experiments related to transgenderism, not programs like Social Security and Medicaid.

Social programs still need to end.

The protests are merely meant to spread falsehood in attempts to overlook the obvious truth that our federal government spends too much money and should be downsized, especially when their spending exists as a patronage network for domestic and international leftism.

Congress needs to use their power over the purse to cut spending, and that includes conversations about reforming Social Security and Medicaid. That still remains the case.

The next “die-in” therefore should happen outside of the Treasury Department, because the way in which our government burns our money on waste and handouts is truly killing the country.
