President Donald Trump signed multiple executive orders seeking to halt the spread of leftist ideology in the federal government, a policy which has been implemented in military schools.

The lawsuit from the ACLU comes after leftists have repeatedly claimed that Republican officials and conservative parent activists are seeking to remove books, without noting that such books are either divisive or explicitly sexual. File Image.

ACLU attorneys submitted a lawsuit last week against the Department of Defense over purported book bans in their schools for the children of active duty military personnel.

Pentagon officials have removed books and altered curriculum that promotes “gender identity” or discusses “divisive equity ideology,” a move which the ACLU claimed was discriminatory. The organization said that “materials about slavery, Native American history, LGBTQ identities and history, and preventing sexual harassment and abuse” were among books banned for students.
