Christians in the state of Georgia made a valiant effort this week to abolish abortion.
Almost two dozen Georgia state lawmakers backed the Georgia Prenatal Equal Protection Act, which would protect preborn babies with the same laws already protecting everyone else.
That would abolish abortion in the state, which has one thousand baby murders each week.
Many local believers and abortion abolitionists testified in favor of the Georgia Prenatal Equal Protection Act, calling on lawmakers to establish justice for the children murdered via abortion.
But there were many residents who flooded the hearing to rage against any threat to abortion.
The hordes of Hell love death.
One opponent of the equal protection bill was a self-proclaimed Episcopal priestess who asserted that the believers advocating for justice “do not speak for all Christians.” The woke cleric made the false claim that Christians had a diverse view of abortion through the ages.
Another opponent was a Jewish rabbi who balked at comparisons between abortion and the holocaust, borrowing from the Nazis by insisting that human embryos are actually subhumans.
Beyond the irate Georgia residents who want continued baby murder, Georgia Democratic State Representative Dar’Shun Kendrick scrawled phrases like “your God is not everyone’s God” on pieces of paper, holding them toward Christians testifying with a crazed expression on her face.
We have to think about why woke critical theorist lawmakers, false Episcopal ministers, Jewish rabbis, and many other types of people banded together to support the cause of baby murder.
This was an absolute freak show.
Jesus himself warned that everyone has a father. They may have God as their Father and live to execute his will. They may instead have their father the Devil and live to execute his will.
Satan does not particularly care if his children wear yarmulkes or rainbow clerical robes.
Our adversary merely cares that they are opposed to God. There is perhaps no more severe opposition to God than the act of child sacrifice, by which his image-bearers are murdered.
Christians must continue to do the will of their Father, even if all of Hell rises to oppose them.
