Woke Wars: San Francisco Pride struggles to find corporate sponsors

San Francisco remains the epicenter of the homosexual and transgender world. The fact that even they are facing consequences shows how pervasive the backlash against them has been.

The more likely story is that they do not want to be associated with even more possible viral perversion this year amid a cultural moment that has become tired of progressive leftism. File Image.

You may remember that the “pride month” festivities in San Francisco went viral last year.

Rather than weeks of friendly progressive activism and celebration, the actual dark underbelly of “pride month” events was exposed to the world, especially as lewd sex acts occurred in public.

That was months before President Donald Trump won the election, with most Americans wanting to reject the extreme excesses of leftism amid a possible trend to the political right.

Trump has since moved strongly against the diversity, equity, and inclusion movement in the federal government, a move which even the largest companies have followed in recent weeks.

The vibe has shifted.

San Francisco is therefore struggling to find corporate sponsors for “pride month” this year.

The group which runs the massive debauched festival still needs to raise funds before the start of “pride month” as sponsors like Comcast, Anheuser-Busch, and Diageo finally withdraw.

All of the suddenly hesitant sponsors claimed they had a shortage of funds to support the event.

The more likely story is that they do not want to be associated with even more possible viral perversion this year amid a cultural moment that has become tired of progressive leftism.

Beyond the aforementioned rightward shift, those who are already on the right have become less patient with homosexuality, even supporting new bans on so-called same-sex marriage.

Many have learned the hard way that the homosexuals never intended to stay in the bedroom.

That was an utter lie.

Those activists who want to continue with “pride month” this year are taking a massive risk.

San Francisco remains the epicenter of the homosexual and transgender world. The fact that even they are facing consequences shows how pervasive the backlash against them has been.

On the one hand, they have a federal government eager to move against them, at least in their most severe excesses. On the other hand, they are facing the greatest wave of popular opposition against their degeneracy in at least a decade, both in the culture and in our laws.
