In the latest iteration of his origin story, one of the most iconic superheroes in American popular culture will breathe new frozen breath into the meaning of the term alien.
Over the past century, the story of Superman has centered on the exodus of baby Kal-El from his home planet of Krypton, after which he was raised by a couple from Kansas.
But a recent revamp of the character from publisher DC Comics will infuse the story with leftist themes, and instead of a peaceful home life in the American heartland raised by a loving family, the young Clark Kent will be raised around the world as a victim of capitalism.
Truth, justice, and the globalist way.
“When Krypton explodes and Kal-El’s rocket lands on Earth, in the fields of Kansas, he’s found by the kindly Kents. But that doesn’t lead to the sort of idyllic upbringing we’re used to seeing in Superman's origin,” reads the description from DC Comics. “Instead Kal-El will spend years on the run across far corners of the globe, living among the planet’s most impoverished and persecuted peoples, working in mines and corporate-owned farms, fighting to protect the identity he lost when his homeworld exploded, always yearning to belong.”
Clark Kent will not be a wholesome farm lad, but will be “a little bit Mowgli, something of a wild boy, with long, unkempt hair and a sometimes fierce and snarling disposition.”
The story of Superman has always included his struggles as an interplanetary alien seeking a better life, but the new race and class undertones in this iteration come amid a massive national debate about illegal aliens entering the country.
Meet the new Hombre of Steel.
But there are a few major differences between the alien Superman and the illegal aliens his creators are seeking to favorably represent by rewriting his classic story.
For one, the alien Superman usually fights against crime, while the other illegal aliens often commit those crimes, most recently by murdering a female college student on her morning run and terrorizing apartment complexes and hotels across the country.
For another, the alien Superman assimilates into his new home country, while many illegal aliens are unfortunately here to reshape the country and take from her resources.
The only question is whether the new woke Superman will be able to outfly federal immigration officers as mass deportations hopefully start in the next few months.
