President Donald Trump recently overhauled the Kennedy Center for Performing Arts.

In a move that shocked adult theater kids across the nation, Trump ousted the leadership of the cultural institution and installed loyalists on the board of directors, such as White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, Second Lady Usha Vance, and several spouses of prominent donors.

Trump noted that the organization hosted drag shows and otherwise ventured far away from actual art, provoking angst and resignations among many artists affiliated with the organization.

The commander-in-chief has overseen the new programming at the Kennedy Center, canceling other homosexual and transgender events and even a concert for the Gay Men’s Chorus.

He went right for their sacred cow.

In order to mount some form of resistance, some leftists took to making an interpretive dance.

One video showed a few dozen dancers outside of the Kennedy Center, dancing in response to the leadership changes and, most of all, their worst enemy changing the programming.

“It felt symbolic in that we’re moving in unison,” dancer and educator Kelly King told the media. “There’s something just compelling to see a straight line of movers dancing this way in a march.”

King also celebrated that the Kennedy Center has featured dance from “ballet and very white programming or European-based programming” rather than more diverse perspectives.

The activist has seen “many more contemporary works and some under the radar dance offerings” over the past few decades “that give both artists and audience an opportunity to expand their horizons,” a development she said was “really exciting and encouraging to see.”

How dare Trump challenge that.

That may actually be the primary reason for the Trump takeover of the Kennedy Center.

Western nations have been surrendered to leftists who delight in the perverse, noisy, obscene, and senseless. The leftists have thus captured the performing arts, meaning that Trump moving to attack their new home territory is a strategic move to end their influence and restore the West.

There is no amount of interpretive dance that can convince our nation that Western civilization, music, art, and dance are not worth celebrating, especially at places like the Kennedy Center.
